Storytelling with Peter Hearn
Mostly Books is the venue for two magical storytelling events this Easter, as we are joined by the magical and captivating storytelling and music of local storyteller Peter Hearn, Beltaine.

If you have never experienced Peter's captivating blend of stories, songs and music then you are in for a real treat - or do return if you have been before. Accompanied by storyteller Sarah, this is a free event for ages 5+ (and parents of course). The event will be on April 11th at 11.30am and 2pm.

Tickets are free, but places limited - so please book.

Oxfordshire World Book Night Read
Come and celebrate World Book Night at Abingdon Library in the company of Rachel Joyce, author of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

Rachel Joyce is an established writer in radio, having written over 20 original plays for Radio 4, and dramatised both classic and new novels. In 2007 she won the Tinniswood Award for best radio play

She moved to writing after a twenty-year career in theatre, performing leading roles for the RSC, the Royal National Theatre, The Royal Court, and Cheek by Jowl.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry is her first novel.

The event takes place at Abingdon Library on Monday, April 23 at 7.30pm. Tickets are free - but must be reserved, and refreshments will be available on the night.
